My New Front Door Decor...
I decided it was time for a change on my front door.
A change from my typical wreath that I always have.
I was at Michael's the other day and I saw that they had these wooden frames on sale. I've always wanted to do something like this, but I never found anything that I really liked....until now.
I went ahead and snatched up the frame and went in search for something to put in the middle of it.
I then stumbled upon this cross to put in the middle and it was on sale for 99 cents! Score!
So I brought everything home and got to work this past weekend.
I also bought some paint from Wal-Mart and got started...
I really love this color of blue. It reminds me of the beach and it's even brighter in person.
I also love this orange-ish, melon color too. I would really love to have a kitchen this color. I think it's so pretty!
And here's the finished product...
My genius husband thought of the idea to use fishing line to tie the cross on to the frame. I already had the yellow ribbon and thought that it would be a another fun color to add to the scheme. All together this little project cost me around $8. Not too bad if you ask me!

Absolutely LOVE your door décor! Have been trying to figure out how to express our faith in a unique way - this is it! We live in a townhouse community with strict rules about what can go in the yard, flags, etc, but the door is our own territory! Thanks so much - am going to "steal" your idea! Off to Hobby Lobby tomorrow!

You are one of those few, you should be proud of what you have created. A job well done. It might be the best job I have seen on any decorations! Thanks.
